This quote has appeared on my emails, my
home page and many other places in the work I do. Even as I write it
today, I am inspired. Why? Because I believe it is one of the most
powerful reminders to be present in life and sometimes we all need that
nudge.
Now IS the time to show up fully. It
doesn't matter what was happening a last week, yesterday or even a few
minutes ago. Now is the time and you can choose to show up.
Showing up isn't something else you "have
to do". It's not another job or task. It isn't about being busy ...
it's a way of being. There's a big
difference. People who show up are paying attention to what is going on
around them, the people in their life, what their own bodies are telling
them, how they are perceiving the world and what their impact is on the
people and places they encounter. They are present.
They don't hide from the truth. They take
responsibility for who they are and what they say and do. People who
show up don't waste time complaining or blaming. They embrace whatever
life sends their way. Showing up means getting out of the drama and
living in integrity.
One area I am very passionate about
people showing up in is how they manage "themselves." To me, showing up
fully means accepting what we cannot change about ourselves, finding out
what makes us magnificent and being
our own greatest champion in every way possible. It means believing in
ourselves, loving ourselves, caring for ourselves.
I am determined to help people stop
self-sabotaging and diminishing themselves. I know this is an essential
key to happiness and ultimately a fulfilling life.
Showing up fully is the first step. Let me lead the way for you.
