Looking for More?

Daryl

Gliding over the lake in our little aluminum boat I breathe in the cool air and watch the sun disappear. The days are much shorter now and soon our little vessel will be tucked under the trees for a few months of rest. Until then, I am racing to the shore each night for one last speedy boat ride.

With enthusiasm and anticipation, Daryl

"No matter how big and scary the ladder may look, you have a better chance of reaching the top if you have a fully committed partner."

For most of my life I believed I would ultimately have to do things on my own. Even though I had loving and supportive people around me I know I wasn't sure I could really count on them. Then off I go to the second Retreat in my Leadership Program. The bottom line result: I had a stunning realization that my success depended in large part on how willing I was to stay completely connected to my partner in a way I'd never done before.

Now that might seem obvious to some of you and yet I watched over and over again as partners, including myself, struggled to stay physically, emotionally and even intellectually "together". For all of us, when we locked into each other we were unstoppable. What I learned has impacted every relationship in my life - both personal and professional and I am fully integrating the power of personal connection into how I show up in the world.

The joint opportunities I have been given since coming home have me beyond giddy with excitement. You'll see some of them in this newsletter and there are lots more to follow. What I now know for certain is that I have so much more to offer my clients and program participants. Fasten your seat belts, the train is moving away from the platform!

QUESTION FOR THE MONTH: "Where in your life would a deep alliance propel you forward?"
From the beautiful shores of Lake Huron and sacred lands of the Bruce Peninsula surrounded by the Niagara Escarpment World Biosphere Reserve, I invite you to experience a rejuvenating retreat.

Enjoy peacefulness, healthy prepared meals, healing Shiatsu massage, a refreshing yoga class, self-discovery exercises, life coaching and more. Open to only eight curious women.

For every woman who longs to slow down, connect with her inner wisdom, and affirm her special place in the world. October 23 - 26th. Visit Women's Wisdom Retreat for information.

I am thrilled to announce that this powerful weekend event will now have TWO leaders. I will be joined by Wendy Pauls, Life Coach, Certified Teacher/Trainer of Adults, Emotional Intelligence for Personal Leadership. Our combination of enthusiasm and talent is guaranteed to deliver a memorable experience.

So ... Who Do You Think You Are? Wouldn't you LOVE to know? AND wouldn't you love to have some serious FUN while you learn?

Who you think you are affects everything you do and how you show up in the world. Uncover - what has been hiding or disguised; Recover - what has been lost or forgotten; Discover - what is exciting and new.

All-inclusive women's retreat. Who Do You Think You Are? Individual rooms overlooking the beautiful, rolling hills of Loyola House, Guelph, Ontario - November 21st - 23rd. "An eye-opening experience ... spend the time with Daryl. You will never regret it. You owe it to yourself." V.T., Mississauga

Marc and daughters
Fathers and daughters have a unique relationship that if well nurtured enriches their lives forever.

I'm delighted to announce that my friend and colleague Ilan Levy is co-leading a groundbreaking new program with me on Saturday, November 8th in the Toronto area. This unique pilot project is for girls in Grade 7 or 8 (ages 11 - 13 years) and their dads. We will lead them playfully through a series of activities to help deepen their connection to each other. If you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible as only 8 pairs of participants will be accepted for this first workshop. For more information contact Daryl at 1-888-596-2385 or by email at daryl@darylwood.com.
